Having experienced professionals in your corner from the creation of your vision will help to ensure that it is not lost in regulatory changes three or four months down the line if you have to re-evaluate or change plans as you had been either incorrectly, or not, advised at all. A process that should be complete would need to essentially start again, plans would then need to be re-submitted after costly changes and another three or four months will pass without even breaking ground. At ProCom we will design a package that suits your needs, to make the process as comfortable as possible when applying for planning permission or to meet building control standards that will enable you to build your vision. The Package: We will discuss the project with you to understand your needs and requirements and carry out some checks to planning, and general regulations within your area before visiting the site address. The site visit is for an hour, you will have an experienced project manager and an architect to discuss the practicality of build elements along with any regulatory requirements that are to be put in place to assist with applications. Measurements and site notes will be taken and questions and queries addressed. Documentation: Drawings - these are tailored to planning applications or building control applications. Plans and specifications - Customised to the build type, the existing property fabric any geographical requirements and customer designs. Calculations - As necessary depending on design, structural elements including steel beam design, roof design and many other elements that need calculations to be compliant. You will receive only the documents set out in your bespoke ProCom package, you will also receive regular updates in the process, post site visit, these will include, drawings, application details, correspondents updates between ourselves and the local authority, and decision. We can also assist with party wall agreement documentation, graded/listed applications and documentation, representing clients or attending meetings with conservation officers or the heritage society if these are relevant to the property or geographical location of it.
